How to Get Tickets: The Ballot
Tickets are sold through a ballot, not first come, first served.
- Go to the official site, tickets.cricketworldcup.com.
- Register for free. You do not pay anything during the ballot.
- Apply for the matches you want. You can enter one application per person for each match, and enter as many matches as you like.
- Apply before 23:59 (SA time) on 21 November 2026.
- If more people apply than there are tickets, a random draw decides.
- If you are successful, you get an email telling you how to buy your tickets.
Ticket prices
The ICC says entry-level tickets start at about R158 (around US$9.50). Tickets for the biggest matches cost about R514 (around US$30). Prices can change with the exchange rate. There are also family bundles, student and pensioner prices, and group prices for clubs and schools.
Only use the official ticket website. Tickets sold on social media are often fake.
