SRD R370 Grant Payment Dates
The SRD (Social Relief of Distress) R370 grant is paid in batches between late October and early November. You should check your grant status online to find your exact payment date.
Grant Amounts
- Old Age Grant (60–74 years): R2,320 per month.
- Old Age Grant (75+): R2,340 per month.
- Disability Grant: R2,320 per month.
- Child Support Grant: R560 per child.
- Foster Child Grant: R1,250 per child.
- Grant-in-Aid: R560 per recipient.
- SRD Grant: R370 per month.
What’s new this month?
- All main grant amounts (except child grants) increased by R10 in October and stay the same for November.
- SASSA will soon end its agreement with Postbank, so you should update your bank details if you’re affected.
- Biometric enrolment (like fingerprint or face scan) is now required for anyone applying for a new grant.
Remember:
